Efficiency Evaluation of Public Hospitals in Saudi Arabia
This study used data analysis to assess the performance of public hospitals in Saudi Arabia. The study found that 75.8% (6g of 91) of public hospitals were technically inefficient, with an average efficiency score of o.76. This indicates that hospitals could have reduced their inputs by 24% without reducing health service provision.
The Capacity of Primary Health Care Facilities in Saudi Arabia
This research examined the capacity of primary health care centers (PHCCs) in Saudi Arabia. The study found that there are 0.74 PHCCs per 10,000 population in KSA. However, there were variations in the distribution of PHCCs across regions and within regions across rural and urban areas.
